A lot has happened this week. Thursday was my last day at Union Pacific. A very bittersweet day. Very excited to move on to the next chapter of my life, but sad to leave all of my friends. Had a nice going-away team builder/happy hour.
Leslie came to visit this week. So Friday she helped me start the packing process and do a major purge of my closet for Goodwill. Saturday was my "official" going away party.
John and I spent most of the day running around getting ready for it. But we had perfect weather for a beach bonfire. And despite it getting a little chilly, I think everyone had fun. I'm going to post some pictures also.
Sunday was the big moving day. Eric Stones and Ryan Mac came by to pitch in. It was the easiest move I've ever done. Less than 3 hours and everything was out of my house and in the storage unit.
The plan this week is to finish packing my clothes and to decide what I'm taking with me. I haven't really hit panic mode yet, but I'm sure as Saturday gets closer it's going to sink in. Right now I'm just too busy to even think about what it's going to be like to actually leave.
